Let me start off by saying that I am a HUGE fan of the Westmoreland series! Brenda Jackson is hands down one of my favorite African-American authors. One of the reasons I love her books so much is because you get lost in the stories and you become attached to the characters. Feeling as if your experiencing everything they go through. That's what makes for a good book and author in my opinion.

Now let's talk about the book Zane. We come into the book knowing that Zane and Channing had a previous relationship that ended badly for both parties. For Zane it was the shock and anger that Channing had broken things off with him and not the other way around. Since that's how most of his "relationships" go. He'll always let the woman know that he's not the "marrying kind" and that he'll never love them. With Channing he did the same as well, but when their relationship went on longer than any of the others Channing thought that he had come to love her as she did him. Wrong! When Zane told her as much, she didn't take it well and shortly there after moved away.

All Channing wants is to find the love of her life and have a long happy marriage like her parents & grandparents. She thought that's what she was getting with Zane, and when he told her otherwise she moved away so she wouldn't be around the man who didn't return her love. Fast forward 2 years later and she's back in town on business and has plans on avoiding Zane while she's there. Zane has other ideas and confronts her so they can "clear the air" between them. During the time Channing is there she and Zane have a big fight and she leaves town again with a broken heart. Only this time Zane realizes that he loves Channing and goes after her! When Zane tells Channing how he feels she doesn't believe him. Now Zane must show/prove his love to Channing before he loses her forever.

Zane is a wonderful story that I recommend for all to read that love romance novels. I'm looking forward to reading the next to books in this Westmoreland trilogy, Canyon and Stern. I know that I won't be disappointed with either.

Kate Douglas has captivated me in her world of erotic romance with her Wolf Tales series! I have been a fan ever since and this box set has made sure that I stay one! If there was anything negative to say about the series it would be that the stories were short. Its made up for though, since they're all in 1 box set and you don't have to go buy the next book just to continue on with the next book in the series.

Jett & Locan are two demons, turned hunters centuries before they are assigned to their current Anchor Leah. Leah keeps the balance between Jett & Locan, so their baser sides don't take over. She's the one to keep them focused on the enemy, as they're lover and partner in battle. During a surprise attack Leah is gravely injured and separated from them. Before she dies she passes on her gift/curse to Addie, who finds her in the park on the way home one night.  Jett & Locan find Addie and inform her of her new status as their Anchor. They train Addie in her new powers and also show her the fighting skills needed to slay demons.

Addie is the glue that holds Jett & Locan together, with her in their lives they're able to become more as hunters as well as partners. Because of the love Addie shows/gives them, Jett & Locan are able to admit to the feelings they have for one another as well. The battles they face are nothing the Demon Hunters has ever faced before, and with Addie's help the team is able to win where others have failed.

Through the series their relationship is tested, enlightened, and expanded. The Demon Lovers box set gets a 10 out of 10 on my Steamy Scale ;-). Its a must read for fans of the Wolf Tales series as well as any who enjoy paranormal erotica, you will not be disappointed.

This book was a very good read for me. The only things that could be compared to 50 Shades of Gray are that it has the BDSM lifestyle and the heroine of the story is is very innocent in her sexual experiences, the comparisons end there. In this book Presley is invited to a secret BDSM club by her roommate (who is in the life) when she sees Presley really enjoys reading BDSM erotic novels, and shows submissive traits. Before she can even get a guest pass there is an interviewing process.

Enters Dmitri, the club owner, who is conducting the interview. From the moment he lays eyes on Presley there is something about her that draws him. As well for Presley just hearing Dmitri's voice has her experiencing feelings she's never had before. The feelings  the two have for each other is something new for both. Dmitri is a Dom that only wants to fulfill that role in  the bedroom (and other places), but not as his 24/7 life. He's swore never to get involed with anyone in his club, but Presley has him reconsidering that vow.

The BDSM scenes in the story are intense and very erotic, it gets a 9 on my steamy scale ( it goes 1 - 10). There are some situations that might get under your skin, but just keep reading it all works out for the good of the story. Claimed   is a wonderful book to start a great series. You'll enjoy all of the secondary characters as well and will want to know more about them. I'm very much looking forward to the next book.

My 1st thought after reading Beyond Eden was "WOW!" 
The rating I would give this book, on a scale of 1 - 10, for its steamy love scenes would be a 15!

This is one of the best Menage' books I've read in a while. With the heartbreaking, soul-connected relationship between the main characters. You won't be able to put the book down! Also the BDSM life that they share was very detailed as well the sex scenes that are HOT enough to have the ladies changing panties quite often!

I was pulled into the story from beginning to end, experiencing all of the emotions that characters were. It was great to be on the journey of acceptance, love, discovery that characters shared. I will defiantly be reading the next books in this series. 

This book is extremely graphic & is not for the faint of heart. I do highly recommend reading it, if you're not afraid to take the risk. You won't be disappointed.
